Conditions of participation

  1. All natural persons aged 14 and over are eligible to participate.
  2. Participation is free of charge and possible until 14 May 2021 at 6 pm.
  3. Participation is via www.eoc2021.ch/fan
  4. Participants between the ages of 14 and 18 confirm with their participation that their parents (or legal guardians) also agree to their participation and the publication of picture and video material.
  5. Each participant must provide their first and last name and an e-mail address.
  6. By uploading the video, the participant transfers to the Swiss Cup Association the full copyright, unlimited in terms of space, time and subject matter. In particular, the participant agrees to the following use of his/her image/video: Use on all social media channels of the Swiss Cup Association (organiser EGK European Orienteering Championships) and other communication channels of the organiser. SRG SSR may film excerpts of the video messages and broadcast them on its communication channels, in particular as part of the live TV broadcast.
  7. The participant confirms that he/she owns all rights to the video sent in. He/she expressly assures that the persons depicted on it have been informed of the scope of use in accordance with these conditions of participation before uploading and have expressly agreed to this.
  8. The participant confirms that his/her uploaded video does not infringe any third-party rights in any other way, in particular trademark rights, copyrights and personal rights, and that the video does not contain any content that is harmful to minors, pornographic, racist, glorifies violence or other illegal or otherwise objectionable content. If, despite this assurance, the video material infringes the rights of third parties, the Swiss Cup Association may suffer damage as a result and may assert claims for recourse against the participant.
  9. The Swiss Cup Association reserves the right to select, edit, change and prepare individual videos from the uploaded videos and to broadcast only these videos on the day of the competition itself as well as in subsequent advertising measures, etc. There is no guarantee that a video will be used on the day of the competition. There is no guarantee that a submitted video will be published.
  10. The Swiss Cup Association may delete a video for no reason and without prior notice, as well as in the event of a risk of violation of the conditions of participation, in the event of illegal or otherwise objectionable content.
  11. The Swiss Cup Association reserves the right to exclude participants from the promotion in the event of suspected manipulation or violation of the conditions of participation and to modify or terminate the promotion at any time.
  12. Various prizes will be raffled among all participants residing in Switzerland. The winners will be selected by means of a random generator and will be informed of the prize by the Swiss Cup Association by e-mail. The prizes will then be sent by post. No further correspondence will be entered into.
  13. Participation in the competition is possible several times, provided that different fan videos are sent in.
  14. The e-mail address will be used to identify participants in the competition. If a participant with two or more different valid e-mail addresses wins more than once, only one prize will be provided. If the winner enters an invalid e-mail address, which makes it impossible for the Swiss Cup club to contact them, they will forfeit their claim to the prize.
  15. Cash payment of the prize and recourse to the courts are excluded.
